Leaders
Senior Section is for girls aged 14 - 26. There are lots of possibilities within the Senior section - here are just a few.
Young leader

From 14 you can become a young leader, helping with Rainbows, Brownies or Guides. From 14 to 16 you work on the "Young Leader Qualification" programme and from age 16 you can choose to begin work on gaining your Guider's warrant, the leadership scheme. You cannot be a warranted Guider before your 18th birthday but you can complete all the work for it. At 18, you become a unit Guider or helper.

 Rangers

From age 14 - 26 you can be a Ranger Guide. These units have a programme following "Look Wider" and you can take part in all sorts of activities and adventures. (You can be a Ranger as well as a Young Leader)

Within the Senior section, you have the opportunity to progress to the Queen's Guide. You have to register with the County Senior section adviser to do this award, draw up a 3 year programme to complete the tasks (this can be extended to 4 years if you choose at the beginning to take a year off - perhaps for exams).
The Senior section wear a turquoise, ice blue or grey uniform - choice of cotton shirt, polo or rugby shirt with hooded fleece in either grey or ice blue.
The revised programme for the Senior section is due to be launched this Autumn - so watch out for exciting developments.
